He married Eliza A. Hager. (Eliza A. Hager is #260.) Eliza was born in Shelbyville, Oh March 2, 1846. At 20 years of age Eliza became the mother of Charles A. Baker July 6, 1866. At 21 years of age Eliza became the mother of Frank L. Baker January 2, 1868. At 24 years of age Eliza became the mother of John Wesley Baker in Eureka Ks, October 10, 1870. At 25 years of age Eliza became the mother of Luella Baker February 7, 1872. At 28 years of age Eliza became the mother of David Otis Baker in Eureka, Ks, May 10, 1874. At 29 years of age Eliza became the mother of Olive V. Baker February 25, 1876. At 32 years of age Eliza became the mother of Edythe Baker in Eureka, Missouri, March 2, 1878. At 33 years of age Eliza became the mother of Wilson Roy Baker February 9, 1880. At 35 years of age Eliza became the mother of Fletcher Baker in Eureka Ks, February 5, 1882. At 37 years of age Eliza became the mother of Ruth Baker January 23, 1884. At 39 years of age Eliza became the mother of Minnie Baker in Howard Kansas, December 16, 1885.

At 30 years of age James became the father of Charles A. Baker July 6, 1866. At 32 years of age James became the father of Frank L. Baker January 2, 1868. At 34 years of age James became the father of John Wesley Baker in Eureka Ks, October 10, 1870. At 36 years of age James became the father of Luella Baker February 7, 1872. At 38 years of age James became the father of David Otis Baker in Eureka, Ks, May 10, 1874. At 40 years of age James became the father of Olive V. Baker February 25, 1876. At 42 years of age James became the father of Edythe Baker in Eureka, Missouri, March 2, 1878. At 44 years of age James became the father of Wilson Roy Baker February 9, 1880. At 46 years of age James became the father of Fletcher Baker in Eureka Ks, February 5, 1882. At 48 years of age James became the father of Ruth Baker January 23, 1884. At 50 years of age James became the father of Minnie Baker in Howard Kansas, December 16, 1885.

James L. Baker and Eliza A. Hager had the following children:

child 3 ii. Frank L. Baker (#362) was born January 2, 1868.

child 4 iii. John Wesley Baker (#361) was born in Eureka Ks October 10, 1870. John died in Died Very Young.

child 5 iv. Luella Baker (#360) was born February 7, 1872.

child + 6 v. David Otis Baker was born May 10, 1874.

child 7 vi. Olive V. Baker (#359) was born February 25, 1876.

child 8 vii. Edythe Baker (#358) was born in Eureka, Missouri March 2, 1878. Edythe died May 15, 1953 in Centralia, Wa, at 75 years of age. She married John Everhart Raught. (John Everhart Raught is #275.) John was born in Winterburn, Pa September 16, 1877. John died May 1890 at 12 years of age. At 27 years of age John became the father of Margaret "Peggy" (Baker) Raught June 10, 1905. (See John Everhart Raught for the continuation of this line.)

At 27 years of age Edythe became the mother of Margaret "Peggy" (Baker) Raught June 10, 1905.

child 9 viii. Wilson Roy Baker (#357) was born February 9, 1880.

child 10 ix. Fletcher Baker (#356) was born in Eureka Ks February 5, 1882. Fletcher died in Died Very Young.

child 11 x. Ruth Baker (#355) was born January 23, 1884.

child 12 xi. Minnie Baker (#354) was born in Howard Kansas December 16, 1885.
